The Catholic Diocese of Maralal gives thanks to God for the pastoral visit of Bishop Joya and Archbishop Muheria, who recently spent time with the faithful, engaging with the Catholic Men Association (CMA) and celebrating Holy Mass. Their presence was a powerful sign of unity, encouragement, and shared faith, strengthening the Church’s mission and renewing the commitment of the faithful to live as true witnesses of Christ in their daily lives.

Beloved brothers and sisters, behold Jesus Christ truly present in the Holy Eucharist, the greatest gift of God’s love. In this sacred mystery, Christ Himself remains with us as our food, strength, and salvation. The Eucharist is not only a sign but the living presence of the Lord who gives life to the world. As we adore Him, may He renew our faith, unite our families, heal our wounds, and lead us into the fullness of eternal life.

As we walk with Jesus in the Holy Eucharist today, let us open our hearts to His presence and trust in His love. He is our strength in every trial, our peace in every storm, and our hope for the future. Let us follow Him with faith and joy, knowing that He never abandons His people.

Catholic Diocese of Maralal was curved from Marsabit diocese, formerly Samburu, Moyale and Marsabit districts. When Maralal diocese was created in the year 2001, His Lordship Rt. Rev, Bishop Virgilio Pante, took up a mantle of reconciling warring communities within Samburu County and his motto is: “with the ministry of reconciliation.
